Feature Class The sources for determining park names, etc. were: Champaign Park District, Urbana Park District, Village of Savoy Parks & Recreation, University of Illinois, Village of Mahomet, Village of Rantoul Recreation, Champaign County Forest Preserve District, and town halls for smaller communities. The original shapefile was created in 2003, finalized in February 2004. Updates to the file were done only for Champaign, Urbana, Savoy and the forest preserves in 2006.
